We've all heard the sickening account of Kristi Noem, governor of South Dakota, who shot a dog in the face and then continued her killing spree of defenseless animals by shooting a goat in the same gravel pit. But beyond being a despicable sociopath she has also exposed herself as a liar.
In her own book, in her own words, "Cricket" the dog was exuberant, full of life, and playful, having "the time of his life" just before she dragged him to a gravel pit and murdered him. She stated--again in her own words--that she was training him to hunt and kill birds. When he did just that to a neighbor's chicken (last time we checked, chickens were birds!), she killed him. And then she killed a goat because, well, he smelled like a goat.
She claimed he got out of the car and got to the chickens. How did he get out of the car? That would be her fault. Dogs don't just get out of cars on their own.
At least two other lies have surfaced this week with probably many more to come.
First, she claimed she "stared down" Kim Jong Un. "I’m sure he underestimated me, having no clue about my experience staring down little tyrants."
Problem is, she never met him. "Nothing like this happened," said Syd Seiler, a former U.S. intel officer who worked with N. Korea for decades.
And then she claimed she cancelled a visit with French President Emmanuel Macron. That never happened either. She was never invited for such a visit.
Noem has proven that she is a self-aggrandizing liar who will say anything to appear tough in hopes of being picked to be running mate to Criminal Defendant Trump. Remember, Donald's former VP, Mike Pence, has stated he will not support him.
